POWER, a community engagement strategy of the Wilmington Community Advisory Council stands for People and Organizations in Wilmington Engaging in Reform. This strategy is designed to harness the individual and collective power of people and organizations in Wilmington who are committed to preventing youth violence and promoting positive youth development.
POWER seeks to mobilize entities that have the power to better support Wilmington youth, their families and communities, particularly “priority” communities within zip codes 19801, 19802 and 19805, whom are most impacted by gun and youth violence.
